Wheel dilemma Need opinions

Right now I have G35 19' Rays wheels 19x8 +30 and 19x8.5 +33
on my car

I know a place that I can get 5zigen fn01rc wheels for a really good price

17x10 +25 all around

what do you guys think?

17x9.5 on an SC to get the idea. The 5zigen's are more sunk in

17s are too small for the SC IMO....

yea.. if it was at least 18 i'd say go for it.. the rims look nice though. how cheap is cheap by the way?

low offset = sexy :)

$135 a rim

you know what... for an SC 17's are too small but on the pics you put up, they dont look bad at all....

I think the 17" would look fine (better than your current wheels, not a fan of split-5s) but I'd go 18" (or 19") for 5-spokes. 5-spokes look best in bigger sizes and would fill up the SC wheel well more/better. I'm not really into spokes anymore, though, 100% mesh for me right now, can't get enough. I plan to get at least 17" or 18" mesh my next set of wheels but I've been surprisingly satisfied with my 16's just because the wheel looks a little like a BBS LM...:woot:

1 thing I would consider is the height of your car. If I were slammed I would get the 17s, but at the height your car is (at least on the pics you posted) keep the rays.

It would look ugly to have a 17 at stock height.

personally I would stick with the bigger rim size and your defiantly not slammed enough for 17s.

The size and offset is good, but 17" is def too small on a big car like this.

If you keep the G35 wheels a +5mm spacer up front and +10mm spacer in the rear.

If you do the other wheels 18's is mos def the way to go.

Get the 5zigens. The concave face is teh sex.

i prefer the look of the g35 19"s over the 17" 5zigens. If the 5zigens were 18-19"s... we wouldn't be discussing this! I rock 17"s on my SC for high mileage trips but the SC's big body dwarfs the 17's.

car will get lowered soon. Its just this deal came up. $135 for a 17x10 +25 is crazy versus $229 per wheel

StiCk3 05-16-08 04:44 PM

i would go for the FNs if you plan on using em for racing and such. 18s i think are the best size for this car IMO, 17s just dont do it enough justice. If its just a street driven car, leave the FNs alone or find some with 18 size. Either way, keep the G35 wheels, they look pretty good as they are now.
