Sometimes when i take my SC300 into the triple digits, it starts to make a sound like cars do when their turbo kicks in. It also happens some when i redline. I sthis something to worry about and no i dont have any turbo kit on it. If this makes any difference, it is an automatic.
do you have an intake on the car??? If so then it is probably the intake creating that noise by high vacuum when the car is revved hard or driven hard, etc.
