What years did they make silver SC400's? I've been trying to find one around where I live and its like they don't even exist. Did Lexus ever make a silver or grey one?

Grey SC
I have never seen a Grey SC400, but I know when I was looking for my SC, there were some grey ones for sale. I do live in Canada, so I have no idea about the states, I would asume they do. I have seen a silver sc400... was repainted, very very nice. Had very few cosmetics that made it even nicer.

Silver SC's
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Lexus offered a Platinum color (a very light silver, great color) starting in 96. You could get that color or a "rose quartz" (slightly darker silver with a slight tint) in 97. Lexus had some variation of silver, if not those exact tints, right up until the end, including a Millenium Silver color for 2000. Don't know about any grey ones, but I've yet to see a stock silver SC older than 96.

Silver SC's
Have a 92 brochure that has a color called Silver Spruce Metallic and a 95 brochure that has a Platinum Metallic (Looks more silver than Silver Spruce)

I own a silver 93 model Soarer. The range of Soarer colours are the same as the US SC series as far as I know. Silver Spruce Metallic is actually the same colour as Platinum Metallic (both colour code 176), but I suppose they changed it because Platinum sounds cooler. I have only ever seen one other silver Soarer in Australia compared with probably 30 metallic green ones!

I made a mistake in my last post when I said that Silver Spruce is the same colour as Platinum Silver. The colour code for Silver Spruce is 6M3.

However my 93 Soarer is stock and definitely Platinum Silver with a grey interior.
