Default Floor Mat Question.

Did some searching, and never got the exact answer. Is there any difference at all between the 92-95 Floor mats, and the 96+ ones? I can't find black 92 floor mats anywhere, and I found a brand spanking new 96+ OEM set for 94 dollars. I am starting my complete car re-do this weekend, and would like to order these to finish off the interior transformation. Any quick help would be great!

Black floor mats are discontinued. When can you get it for $94?

only difference AFAIK is 92-96 has black, gray, taupe, spruce interiors. 97-00 does not have gray.

I am not sure what the difference is but the part number on them is different. I think that's about it. The shape should be fine though, I don't see how it can change very much at all.

I myself have a '95 and I had gotten my complete floormat set off of a '92...So if anything, there shouldn't be a problem retrofitting floormats from previous models and vice versa.

Anyone here work at Lexus and can get part numbers for the mats that they do still sell for SC?

I really wanted to buy black ones and pickup a spare tan set to have as a backup.

Looks like oem floor mats are discontinued for our cars. Anyone know of a place to get good aftermarket floor mats for our cars?

I don't think there is a difference.

I picked up a set of tan ones from a 2000 SC400 and they fit like a glove in my 1992.

When did you buy them b/c Sewell and my local Metro lexus says they are discontinued for all sc 300/400 models? We are delegated to the aftermarket world without the coveted "Lexus" insigina ebroidered on the mats.

There shouldn't be any change, as the chassis didn't change.

I have IS350 floor mats in my car, and i'll be damned if it didnt fit and look OEM.
