Default Stuttering

I hope this is the correct SECTION.....

Can anyone tell me why m car is stuttering? I checked for head gasket leak, compression drop, and replaced the MAF 3 times. I am quite tired of this freakin problem. I ordered the AFC NEO I was told that it would eliminate the stuttering problem. Someone also told me that I should replace my Factory ECU also with another factory ECU. Is that true? Someone please help or if you have experienced this problem can you tell me. Thank you.

Try cleaning your IACV and check that your TPS is setup correctly.

First time my car was stuttering I had bad gas.

Second time it was the IACV.

Third time it was a vac leak.

i had a similar issue with my 240sx with bogging

check your fuel filter, spark plugs+wires, fuel pump, and distributor.
id also recommend checking for vacuum leaks.

all those mentioned will make your car **** gas out the exhaust if theyre bad.
is the sputtering and bogging only at mid rpms, but go away at high/wide open throttle and low rpms?

There is no real way of knowing what the problem is without doing a thorough troubleshoot of the car.

If the car is burning fuel, think fuel and ignition problems. Like hateshino said, check the most obvious parts: Spark plugs, igniter, distributor, and any vacuum leaks.

If it was a bad ECU it should've thrown a CEL code by now. Is there any CEL on now? How long has this been going on? I'm guessing its been going on for a long time seeing you went through all this trouble. Start with the most simple parts to go bad like plugs, fuel filter, etc. Throw some injector cleaner into the tank, might be injectors. Good luck.

I have a small shake at idle too, but my 92 factory 5 speed won't rev past 4000 rpm's when in wide open throttle. No codes though, and iv replaced the MAF, ECT, and done full tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter... Still having the same problem.

Fuel pump ECU is most likely going bad.

Same here. I also noticed on mine if I don't let it warm up it just jerks like crazy until it warms up. I need to go get it checked.
