New tails...what do you think ??
 

There has been some talk about updating our tails which got me to thinking, what can we do, well this is something i came up with. It is just a first photoshop. I think it looks ok but it needs quite a bit of work but it is a start. Comments and IDEAS are more then welcome :thumbup::thumbup:

I also thought about doing somehting like the new Nissan R33 GTR tails but when i photochopped it, didn't look so hot the circles dont really flow with the car.

not really likin it. though the shape kinda reminds me of older bimmer tails.

that might look good....but u gotta do it well to look good. trying to make half of the top of the lights look like it's coming with the trunk when you open it may take a lot of work specially since the real lines for the trunk are so next to it.

looks good. but if u js leave it clear that would be hawt to :p my fav set up.

I voted no: clear the top out, you're done. Either red/clear or 95-00 OEM. But I do like how the pics above changes the lines of the back and connects them, that looks pretty nice but maybe hard to pull off since you have to make a new line in the top part.

What are your other ideas and options? You're also thinking about transplanting new tail lights, you mentioned? Honestly, I think red and clear would look incredibly clean on your car.

It look very Classic and enhances the rear of the car!

i think it looks okay..it doesnt look so bad in the b&w pic..but in the color..it kinda looses it in a way..maybe if done right..it could look pretty decent. kinda reminds me of the eyelids but instead for the tails.

wow, I think that actually looks pretty darn good!

the black and white pic looks fresh...but on the colored photo...it looks a lil tacky...that's just me.

if it was molded to the trunk i think it would be much cleaner. other wise i woulda keep it off and have it half clear half red straight across....but still has a clean look.
