Insurance on an SC300 or 400 ... YIKES!
I currently own two vehicles and will (hopefully) be purchasing an SC300 or 400 soon. I just got off the phone with my insurance company. They raised my (and my wife's) rates by 33% because of losses incurred (by the company) within my state. I have had no accidents in 25 years and neither has my wife.
What really floored me was that the bill to insure an SC 300/400 would be 2.5 times that of my almost new truck. It floored me because I told them that the Lexus would only be driven a few thousand miles per year.
The question I have for you is what coverages do you normally carry for your car and who do you insure with? My guess is that you younger guys are paying an arm-and-a-leg for insurance. My company wants $1,018 per year (for 3K miles) ... and I am in my 40s.

hmm I am with progressive and I only pay 190 a month for my vehicles. They are listed in my sig. I am 29 and my wife is 25 I have full coverage on all vehicles, plus towing, plus uninsured on - except the Z only has liability as it is down. I think it is time to find a new insurance company.
I can tell you this though...the Lexus cost more to insure than the Yukon. Wife was not happy about that lol
