I have 5 people on the look out for it.... if they see it they are going to call me.
If nothing else I have a full week off in two weeks, I can steak out the town. haha
I called one of my buddies and I was told there are two of them in my home town!! I was like "how in the hell do I miss two convertible SC300s in a town with the population of 9k?" WTF?!?!?!
As soon as I track one down I will take lots and lots of pictures and also invite them on here.
I will keep you peeps updated!

there is one converted here also, looks like crap with top up and down.Sc's have frame around door windows so when they cut this it looks like crap. plus the 1/4 windows dont roll down from factory so they also have to be rigged. There are companies that do these conversions right, but I have yet to see one on an sc.
the only way to make this car look right drop top is to make it roofless permanently this way you dont have to hack the back of the car to hide away the top. Another thing I noticed about the one here is how bad they narrowed the back seat so that the top frame fit. if I see it again Ill take pictures.

Just judging from the drop and some of the other mods, IE the conv. top and those chrome fenders. It was probably someones project that was either never totally finished, Or may have already been partially dismantled?
If i were to guess, I would say shes a neglected garage queen!
