Good job on all the hard work Curry!
How much have you spend so far?
So at least if someone wants to restore they have an idea
Cheers-

Thanks!

$2,500 for the car + extra parts
$1,500 for the turbo kit + extras
$450 for leather
$550 on tune up supplies and misc stuff

So figure $5000 in total for the car and everything else.

i hope you paid under 1000 for it. I see these at the auction in better condition that sell for 800 bucks.

Yea it really was a great learning experience. Routine maintenance is such a breeze now.

Great work man, I'd go with a 97 stock replacement because kits tend to scrape here in NYC. I've scrapped a few bumpers on my 3000's...
Yea i love the color. I did find out its not silver spruce. Its Bluish metallic gray. LOL. The paint code is actually 182 and not 6m3 or whatever SS is.

Its fun doing the restore, especially if you have the time. Its great watching it "Evolve"

I decided against the kit for the same reasons. These NYC roads are KILLER. I will reveal what I have planned for the body soon though. Just waiting on the parts and new suspension

Hint* see sig.

heheheh
