My car won't start!
I was on vacation for about 10 days and when I got back, I tried starting my car and it wouldn't work. I grabbed a battery charger and when I put it on, next thing I know, my alarm goes off. I didn't even know I had an alarm on this car. But anyway, I turn the key to the ignition and it goes off and my wheel moves and the lights go on....But, when I turn the ignition to try to start it. Nothing. It's blank, doesn't even make a sound. My radio works and everything with the battery charger on the battery. But for some reason my car just won't start. Is my alternator/starter shot?

When this happened to me in my moms Toyota the mechanic said the battery was terribly corroded and that it only needed a good cleaning. After that it worked just fine.

hopefully it will just work for you.
bcs that happend to our LS and when we took it to the dealer they said nothing was wrong at all when they diagnosed it and it started for them. i believe there is a killswitch that engages after the alarm goes off if you do not have the key to turn it off. |
with the master key and the car jumped with the charger, lock the car until the security lights starts blinking, not solid make sure its blinking might take 10 seconds, then unlock with the keys twice to disarm the car.
Leave it unlocked, clean the corroded battery terminals and go get your battery charged somehwere else like Murray's or Autozone. |

Leave it unlocked, clean the corroded battery terminals and go get your battery charged somehwere else like Murray's or Autozone. This will deactivate the kill switch on the stock factory alarm  |
