Unhappy help! Key won't leave LOCK position! :(

hey everyone, I searched and couldn't find anything that would help. I have a 93 sc300 and the key won't turn in the ignition. The steering wheel is locked now too so I have go idea what to do. Tried moving the steering wheel and key around at the same time for about 2 hours but still no luck.

Happy new years everyone

That's weird, you should be able to turn steering wheel a little and than turn the key.

Sounds stupid but is your foot on the brake when you try to switch the ignition on? Is there an aftermarket immobiliser stuffing around with you?

I know on my car when I put it in park, I have to push up on the shifter again and it then clicks into place. Otherwise it wont turn off or let me take the key out.
