Joining the SC club
Hey, I'm about to join the SC4 club here...totaled a 97 240sx when an older lady ran a stop sign. Found a local SC400 last week with all the service records from the day it was bought, everything, even oil changes, done at a Lexus dealership, and last October, it had the P/S pump, radiator, timing belt, front/rear struts, and trans mount replaced. Carfax came out clean, and tommorow morning its going into the lexus dealership for a 180 point buyers inspection. if everything checks out, im paying for it when i get back from christmas vacation.
Had a full T3/T4 kit for the KA24 in my 240 ive sold for $2200, and im looking into a supercharger for the SC. cant wait to get my hands on this car, and post up some pics. been lurking around on the forums for a week or so, and lots of you have really nice cars...by the way, OLT, i live in ooltewah, real close to ya.
wish me luck!! cant wait to get my car

Wow, I don't know what to do with ONE cl member within 100 miles Let's have a meet and show them how we do it
I have a spare parts car I stripped if you need odds and ends I may have it. Convenient since no one in this town has barely even heard of an SC.

OLT, got a spare temp. needle, the electronics behind it work, the needle itself is just dead...thats about the only thing it needs...and we will have to have a meetup once i get it, got a buddy with a 550hp S13 that he is just looking for any excuse to get it out, not that i blame him..

Hardest needles to find on the planet. They are (1) reverse voltage (2) have a lower threshhold so they burn out quicker than amber and do not absorb spikes well (3) were only made for 1.5 yrs during a limited production run and the supply is non existent (4) have a red face so they are not as bright as the other models if rebuilt. Swap them for some 92-94 needles, make a few mods, so you can fire them any color.

k, the lexus dealership in e. brainerd told me of a place in east ridge that will fix all 4 needles for 75 dollars to whatever color i wanted. they said they have sent a few people to him...im going to try it out to see if its all they said it was. i am certainly hoping so, because thats cheaper than anywhere else ive found.
he also said that Phosphorus is what makes them glow...heard anything about this?

#1- as said before 95 needles only go red.
#2- that repair was $99 on the other side of ER towards signal.
#3- Phosphorus ??? Does this guy do blow on the side before he thinks this up? LOL. It's led's. This is the kind of info I am talking about. This town just throws things out there and hopes no one else notices they are completely BS'ing.
LOL... Phosphorus.

You can do whatever you want with it, I am just saying anyone that says Phosphorus lights the clusters should probably choose a path in life that involves a short bus.
Did he tell you to replace the flux capacitor also?
