Talking

Now that's what I'm talkin about!!!

Do you have any more info on the car? It is very nice to see that even though the L6 is considered "bulletproof", when a max effort is targeted the V8 gets the nod. As I stated elsewhere, Incon Turbosystems builds 800hp Landcruisers/LX470s for Arab Sheik types in UAE in the middle east. These guys drive 180+mph for extended (20+min) blasts accross their desert highway/autobahn system. Toyota engines make great turbo platforms.

I am seriously considering a positive displacement type supercharger for the LS. I just had a packaging idea that may make it very reasonable and relatively uncomplicated. I would target apx 5psi to start which should be good for 80-100rwhp and similar torque improvement.

Talking funny you mentioned

Now that you mentioned those Arab Sheiks...why the hell would you want to run at 180mph+ across the dessert for 20 minutes...I bet there is no traffic...are they trying to waste all the fuel they can put in those Landcruisers? common, I know they own great amounts of crude but they can't waste it by themselves...

Why do I always come up with these stupid statements?, please don't answer

Anyhow you can find more info in www.overboost.com they have a small article about the V8 Supra there.

Abdul10000, Incon Turbosystems is in Australia. Dave Inall, the owner, spends a great deal of time in UAE building these supertoys. They have a US presence in Florida. Try www.forcedinduction.com

Thumbs up

Mindflux, thanks for the link. A projected 2000hp and 6.5 second 1/4 mile times......that's QUICK.
