For all your tire sizing needs.

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...mp;vehicle=yes

Stock tire size - 225/55/16
New tire size (rear) - 245/40/19

Actual speed = 60mph
Speedo reads = 57.8mph

Your speedometer will read 3.762% too slow, just keep that in mind while driving and you'll be fine

This is what I use. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

As long as you're within 3%, you'll be fine.

Student here as well.

They're just temporary wheels to tie me over until I can put my real set on. Shhhh..

I offered the kid $500 cause the tires on them are bald. Just to get new tires on it will be like $800 so I hope he accepts,

What is the finger gap up front with stock suspension? does it still look bad compared to the 16" rim?

i have that set on my sc, stock infiniti sized tires, lowered on eibach springs, cannot get my finger inbetween the tire and rear fernder, need a roll. the stock infin tires are run flats and they are not nice to drive on at all, buy them with bad tires so you can pick your size and tire. i have a local used tire guy that sells me replacements for 50-75 each, at 75 they are only about a month old. i have p-zeros on the rear now and have for just over a year. still in great condition. they are excellent wheels, to purchase an aftermarket wheel that is as strong and lite you would spend a couple grand.

If I just keep the stock suspension can I install these wheels with no roll? I would stick with the stock tires too. I wish I could get a deal like that from used tires. When ever I ask about used tires they say they don't have any.

if you went with this set of wheels and tires with no drop, prob look awful, maybe with a little bit thicker tire, but they will fit with absolutely no problem, i am only reminded that the rears are tight when i have people in the back seat and i hear the rear scrape occasionally. otherwise its never an issue.
p.s. you gotta look for a used tire dealer, dont bother calling anyone else, these guys are everywhere, they get tires form junkyards.

I offered the guy $500 cause it needed 4 new tires and he said NO. I'll just have to keep lookin in guess.

I will look for a used tire dealer.

It looks alright without a drop but it still looks kind of stupid without one. It looks great with one though.

Has anyone tried putting a Lexus wheel cap in place of those infinity ones?

I havn't been able to find any yet. All the lexus/toyota ones I come across are slightly larger

I thought about sanding down and re-painting the infiniti ones, but they'd need to be filled in after with bondo or something. Too much work.
