The fogs have an outside plastic ring (see first post) that I cut off to make it more flush, but not completely flush. I had to make a bracket so they would fit, but I'm sure had my front end been stock they would have bolted in. The Vertex copy I have has NO mounting area for fogs...ouch.

now get those new headlights off ebay to match. maybe paint the housings of the fog's black and buy the black headlights. i think it would look good IMO

hurry post pics of the beam pattern.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I wanted to see the beam pattern on these if you have any pics yet. I've been thinking of doing this mod myself, and wanted an idea of how well they function once installed. Thanks. :)

I think if you did not know which were the OEM, most people would choose the alternative. They really are more modern looking and just better IMO.

I'd like to see them on an OEM 97+ bumper.
I definitely like this idea. OEM is nice, but for the cost? I think I'll pass and get the Intrepid ones. I could care less if they are from an Intrepid. I can always tell people its OEM...lol. Most people won't even know. OLT is right about Dodge lenses getting yellow, or foggy. I see first generation Dodge Neon's with headlights that look like someone did their business and filled the inside. They look gross. I would just make sure that as soon as you get a pair to wet sand them and apply some wax. Popping them open and cleaning them wouldn't hurt either. Apply some Rain-Ex or similar on the inside too. That should last a while. Nice find though. I'll definitely be doing this. Too bad the 300M fogs are different, as there is one not far from me in a junk yard. |

They look pretty good  I like the clear lens!
