Ok so here is the question. I finally got a job making some more cash to start dumping into a build. Before I start a build thread and everything I am trying to do the finishing touches on research and planning. I have spent forever trying to understand the perfect formula for offsets, stretching, pulling, rolling, camber, etc... and my brain has officially turned to mush.... Here is the Rim specs I'm planning as far as size goes, but for offset and tire size i'm so lost it's pathetic. (I plan on rolling, running a stretch if needed, and running negative camber for an aggressive stance once it's slammed on coilovers).

XXR 530's (Temporary to dial in fitment perfectly and save for legit wheels)
19x8.75F (wanted 9.75 but they don't offer it for the 19's)
19x10.75R

For the love of all that is holy, will someone help me solve this damn puzzle before my head explodes.....

You would probably want 235/35/19 f and 255/35/19 r. But I've never run those wheel sizes so don't take my advice before you do more research. Tire sizing is very important.

Have you tried googling? I did and found this really nice calculator. It will require you to enter your stock wheel/tire spec and current fender, suspension, and wheelwell clearance. Then enter your new wheel/tire size and it will tell you how much closer or farther your wheel/tire will be from the fender. You can also specify your drop and it will show you the result. It also provides plus sizing options.

I've tried to use google, but there is so many different variations, finding the answers without either trial and error, or experience seems nearly impossible. That calculator is extremely helpful though! i'll just have to find a tape measure to measure out the clearance specs for stock and adjust accordingly. I just wish It allowed an option for applying camber changes to the car to see the way the rims would sit after. Right now I'm looking at the only 2 offset options that are offered by XXR, and it seems that +15 is the way to go. Appears that +35 would be WAY too sunken in and I'd have to run ridiculous spacers. I'm just not trying to spend months of trial and error on a set of wheels, nor am I trying to spend a **** ton having to get new ones because the ones I have don't fit the way they need to. Thanks for your help though bruh!

Default Need Advice on rims

I'm going for the tuck look (wheels sitting inside the fenders).

I'm planning on doing the ls400 calipers would i have any issues (dont want to use spacers)

Would i have any rubbing in the front or any sort if i go with 35 or 40 tires. Please advise.

18x8.5 +30 / 5x114.3 / 73.1 / Gold-Hyper silver-Hyper Black-White w/ Machine Lip / 2.5 inch

18x9.5 +35 / 5x114.3 / 73.1 / Gold-Hyper silver-Hyper Black-White w/ Machine Lip / 3 inch

You shouldn't have any trouble with tucking those sizes and as for the brakes I'm sure you wouldn't have any issues either

I found a pretty good deal on some wheel in my area. They're 18x10" +25 all around.
Now normally I wouldn't think this is a problem with a fender roll, but these wheels already have 275/35/18's on them and I'm skeptical of the fitment in the front. Is it possible to fit in the front without major fender work, and more importantly, usable enough for daily driving? Any advice would be appreciated.

TL;DR - Will 275/35/18's be usable in the front without pulling the fender?

What kind of ride height are you looking at?

Default Wheels and tires.

I have 17" Hyundai wheels from a sonata. They fit quite well, and I have my car sitting pretty low.

Default 18x10 +25 tire options

I have some Cosmis MR7 18x10 +25 and BC Racing coilovers ready to slap on the SC400. Ive seen others here like CaptainDan fitting 245/40, I would like to try 255/40 or 275/35... any recommendations. Also being in socal is it realistic to get a max perf summer tire for year round or should i go for UHP all season?

Thanks CL!

Hello guys. I'm buying a new set of tires and I'm wanting to run a lower profile while sustaining daily drivability. I'm currently running a set of Nexen 245/35/20 all around on MSR 093 20x10 & 20x8.5. I believe they are 40 offset all around. Im also looking to minimize camber in the rear (because buying tires isn't cheap lol). also any guidance in spacers for a more flush appearance would be greatly appreciated. Im also lowered on a set of Tein Springs and KYB reds if thats important. Thanks in advance!
