@Boriken - if anything you've made me re-think my decision of getting 7.5 width on the back instead of 7 all the way around...

The first year of owning my SC300, I burned through a set of 60k mile tires in 10k and learned all of the limits of my vehicle... now it seems like some of that is going to be different.

But then again, tons of people in this thread with much larger tires than mine and no complaints....

Perhaps this is a conversation for a different thread.

Thanks for the link!

Default buying new wheels for my car

I just bought a 1995 sc300 and I am going to look at some wheels in a few days.. They are 17x8 and have an offset of +20 and was wondering if these wheels would stick out of my fenders too much?

Thanks, Mason.

Hi All, I've been searching for the answer to this for a while, but haven't yet found it:
I have TT wheels on my SC400 with 245/45/17 tires up front, and 275/40/17 in the rear; lowered on TT eibach/kyb setup. Naturally the fronts look quite sunken in and I'm looking for a spacer to help with that; however I just want to know what's the max size spacer that would work BEFORE needing to roll fenders. I'm looking to just push out the wheels to the point before I would need to do that for clearance. Does anyone know this answer, that has pulled their fenders with this setup? (I'm thinking 10mm?)
Thanks.

There was a thread on this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...spacers-2.html

I'm thinking 10mm as well if you dont want to roll fenders

Front should be ok for a 255
Rear should be ok for a 275....with a higher offset of you could run a much bigger tire like a 295 or 305....

You should just do 18x9..18x10 +34 all around......the only problem that I found with 10 in wheels with a lower offset in the 20's they did not clear my ls400 bbk

I'm actually thinking 18×9.5 +12 all around with some 225 or 235s tires. It's hard to pick wheels lol

Why are you wanting streched tires with a GTE/V160.......you'll need the extra tire width with the GTE believe me.....I wouldnt run anything smaller than a 255 in the rear
