Default SC400 OEM Rims

Looking to upgrade my tires on my OEM rims 16" , What would be a better fit 225/50/16 or ? 45/40 series..?

Im wanting a little more performance, car is on stance col overs , these will be my drift/track tires.

Thanks

need expert advice please

my wheels are:

back 18x10" offset: 32
front 18x8,5 offset 27

now i now the ideal combination would be 255/35/18 and 225/40/18 but i really like the meaty look of a tire going over the rim if you know what if mean!?

so i would like 295/35 and 255/35. would this be possbile with fender roll?

Anyone rocked 17x10 with low offsets all around? I'd like to see some slammed Setups on that. Got my eyes on BBS RS in that size.

I'm sure you can run 295s on the 18x10 +32 with rolled fenders. As for 255s on 18x8.5s, I dont think you would have to roll at all.

I'd go for the 225/50s. For 245s, you'd need at least an 8" wide rim

I'd be interested to see this on an SC. Some may argue that 20s are too big yada yada yada, but the x10.5 +25s should fit nice and flush if you're lowered. My only concern is that the back of the 9.5 +45 might hit the front suspension components, so you may need to run a spacer up front

Not too many people running 17x10 setups. Here's a member running an inch in diameter larger all around 18x10: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=531546

Hey mate, ive just received a 20x10.5 +23 with a 285/25 (i will run a 275/30 in the future).
Heres a pic of the fitment without a proper alignment, fenders have been rolled flat but i should imagine that with about 3 degrees of neg camber it should fit.

Just need a little advise here guys. Getting some parts together and just can't decide on wheel offsets etc. i am lowering about 2 inches, right now i have no fender mods on a completely stock 96 sc400. I think i can find someone to roll my fenders properly if need be but anywho, the wheels I'm looking at are 18x8.5 with offset options of +25 to 38 or +45 for the front and 18x9 with offset options of +30 to 42 or =50 for the rear. My question is what would be a good offset to have a usable but slightly aggressive fitment? What would be my options for rolled and non rolled fenders? Any help is greatly appreciated
