Just wanted to get some advice on tire sizing for my CE28N mag blue wheels their specs are
18x9.5 +15
18x10.5 +18

I'm thinking 235/40 front and 255/35 rear overall diameter difference would be .4 of an inch .2 radius front to rear difference as well. I want to get a little bit more meat on the rear since I want more traction for my 2JZ but didn't want to change my wheels. Oh and how much modification on the rear fender? I have rolled fenders as well but wanting know if there's pulling involved

thanks

You should be fine if they are rolled flat. You could also do a 235/35 in the front, thats what I have. Or 265/35 in the rear, it will just be a little taller than the 255/35.

Appreciate the input. So 235/40 with 265/35 or 235/35 with 255/35 combo? And front fender no rolling involved?

Fronts would need a roll, but nothing crazy.

Just looking for some feedback here..
After searching alot of this thread I had decided that I wanted to go w 245/40/18x8 +40*offset. I do not want to lower the car or do any fender mods. Today now I have an opportunity to buy a beautiful set of enkei rims and they are sized Front: 18x7.5 +45mm offset. Rear: 18x8.5 +50mm offset
Thoughts on tire size and how it would look or should I pass and stick to my original plan?? Thanks!

The first size (245/40-18, 18x8 +40) will fit. But it will look like an SUV at stock ride height.

The new numbers (7.5+45 / 8.5+50) are practically exactly the same as OEM IS350 wheels, with the same offset but the one small exception that the front size you listed is 1/2" narrower than IS350 front. These would look good with IS350 OEM tire sizes (225/40 and 255/40)...

BUT

...again, at minimum you'll need lowering springs to make it look like a car, not an SUV. A set of Espilir ASD's don't cost much, and will enhance the look of your car with that wheel combo you listed. Look for my post in this thread that shows my car on OEM IS350's for a reference.

f245/40 and r275/35 are those tires a proper size and you guys think i would need to roll my fenders?

I'd suggest 235/35 front; both wheels will be sunken in a little, unless your ride height is super low you shouldn't have to roll or pull.

ok so i snagged another set of wheels basically paid nothing for them. only problem is they are bmw lug pattern so here is what i have:

19x8.5 et 20 19x9.5 et 30

ill have to run adapters and they are 19mm so ill have a +1 up front and +11 in back. does anyone see any major issues with this? fenders will be rolled and pulled and tires are 225 35 all around. appreciate any help!

I don't see you having any issues with that set up.

1998 SC400 , Work rims Front:18x9.5 +15 Rear:18x10.5 +22 , Would this be a nice staggered set up or not? What would be a good tires size .

How much fender rolling/pull would i need front or back?

Thanks,
