Thank you for confirming this... Kingphillip thinks they are great... in the grand scheme of things, they are round, black and do a decent job of holding air... that's about it... in comparison to pretty much every other tire out there, they are the worst, or in a group of tires in the bottom 5%...

would any tire size smaller than 225 be too small, especially for the front?

I'm doing 225/35 thats a nice stretch, 235/35 mild and 245/35 slight

i run achilles on 2 of my cars, and neither one sways left nor right in the rain ... perhaps its something else

Lol, I don't think so, I know so, cause I've been running them for over a year now. Again, mitsuguy, I don't know what you've been told, lol. And sc300jz, tires don't make your car sway left to right, it's the steering wheel.

I'm not gonna argue with you guys no more. Let's put it like this, I buy certain things that are cheap or fake, and I buy certain things expensive or authentic. Example, I buy Apple products for everything "computer" related, because I need it and I think they're the best. But then again, there are a lot of people that can vouch that Windows is better or Android is better or whatever. You can justify it however you want, and I can justify my side however I want, and mine will definitely be based on experience and not some hear say.

Perhaps, but I've gotten on an alignment on my SC and still the same. I was able to break loose on them as well.

I've been using them for about 3 yrs. Why do I keep using them? Dirt cheap, gets the job done. I dont drive fast so I dont need unnecessary grip if i am not going to use them. I have no problem burning through these tires since they and cheap and stretch well. They are good and bad in their own ways.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying it's the best, my point is when you lower your car, run camber, and daily it, you're gonna burn through them in less time than theyre supposed to. I go by the same exact reasons you said. I never said they're the best, well yeah, they are the best for their price.

something wrong with your car, nothing wrong with achilies they are cheap tires that stretch very well its not an autocross tire but you can def drive the car normal with no swaying back and forth.

I run Achilles and they are perfect. No problems whatsoever. Great stretch and they handle my camber no problem.

Do you guys think this wheel will fit?

255/45/R18 Nexen Trazano N7000.

Wheels themselves are 18x8 +45.

18X8 offset +36
18X9 offset +38

Thanks!

I run Achilles ATRs on my SC and had them on my 98 Cavalier and have not had a single problem with them yet, knock on wood. And mine are even slightly stretched with a degree of camber. I haven't posted my wheels/specs yet, so here we go...
Front: Stance SC5 19x8.5" +35 (e.t. +30mm with a 5mm spacer) on 225/35/19 Achilles ATR
Rear: Stance SC5 19x9.5" +38 (e.t. +33mm with a 5mm spacer) on 245/35/19 Achilles ATR

clear up the question???? you asking how small of a tire you can fit...just for a stretched look????? a 225 40 18 would probly be the smallest you could go while not being totally undersized, but a 235 40 would run closer to the factory tire dia. are you lowered at all?? running spacers??? details my friend. the point of stretching tires is to be able to fit your rims to your car not just to look cool 18x9.5 +25 wouldnt need a stretch at all.. 245 40 would fit fine.. but say they are 18x9.5+0 then yes i could see the need to run a stretched tire

currently running a 18x10+18 with a 235 40 up front i might add a 10mm spacer tho and drop down to a 225 40 once my New stances arrive so i can go lower.. Currently on Tein super streets
