WOW.
Now you need a fender pull+ coilovers or Widebody + coilovers

Hey guys!
I bought a set of used Advan Model5 wheels and waiting to get a new paint on them and wrap them with rubber.

What summer tires do you guys recommend for me?
My car is a daily driver and I use it in the winter also when it's 0degrees and they pour salt on our roads here in Finland.
So I don't want to make fender modifications because I'm afraid of the corrosion.
Planning on putting some coilover on the car too.

My winter setup is:
all round: rim size 17x8; offset +38; tire size 225/45/17; no fender modifications; studded tires (had 18x8" ET45 with 225/40-18 tires, but didn't fit the Supra BBK)

my new wheels are:
front: rim size 19x8; offset +30
rear: rim size 19x9; offset +35

I was thinking for the front 225/35-19 and 265/30-19 or 245/35-19 for the rear.

What would you think about these fitting my needs ?

btw. great forum, lots of great info!

I'm a week away from ordering tires and still debating exactly which sizes to go with.

My tires are currently 235/40/18 and stretched. The wheels are 18 x 9.5" with +38 offset all around. Eventually, I would like to go with 10mm spacers so my question is what tires should I be running at +28. Fenders have been rolled flat and liners are removed.

Objectives:

-Semi-aggressive without too much stretch
-Improve the ride compliance from the current stretched setup
-Improve rear traction

I'm considering 255/40/18 all around. I don't see many running a tire this big up front while achieving the look I'm going for - will the 40 sidewall appear too big or make the profile too high and cause rubbing? Here's a picture of current fitment for reference.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I am looking to fit some 19x9.5 and 19x10.5. How aggressive can I get with my offsets without running ridiculous amounts of camber? Fenders will be rolled, pulled if I have to. But i do not want to run more than -3degrees of camber. Ive been searching everywhere on this site and cant find an answer. Please help!

Go with +22 all around. Pull the fenders to tuck the tires. Look up SH_JZZ30. His front wheel offsets are lower, but he has 245's up front.

CL Member Name: Tret
Rim Brand and Type:
Rim Size f/r: Front, 18x8. Rear, 18x8
Rim Offset f/r: Front +27. Rear +22 (default 42 without spacers)
Tire Size f/r: Front, 245/40. Rear, 245/40
Suspension Setup: Espilar ASD springs. 2.1" drop all around
Comment On Ride: It's a bit bouncy
Fender Modifications: None
Any other comments: The rear rubs.

Judging by these pictures, do I need a fender roll, pull, lower profile tire, or stick with a 15mm spacer in the rear instead of the 20mm?

Thanks for any help in advanced.

I'll post some better pictures soon enough. My front lips are poked a little more then the fender, but I'm tucking front tire on a 225/40. Rears I'm tucking tire ( 235/40) and making contact with rear fender arch and wheel lip. ( that's why you can see the silver around my fronts, those used to be my rears. )
