^^^^ You will have a lot of room with that setup. I don't think you need to roll much less do any pulling.

And the tire sizes that I'm thinking of using will fit fine?

So I found out the real offset for the wheels is +31. would this keep me from using 245 or 255's at all four corners?

I recently purchased 18x7 rims with 245/40/18 tires on them.

From searching on the net I've found that 245/40/18 is a very fat tire for a 7" wide rim. The previous owner of the rims never had any problems with this setup... two of the tires need to be replaced eventually and the other two are in great condition.

Now to replace the tires I'm considering getting a proper fitting tire for the rim. Now the only problem I'm running into is load ratings.

Right now on stock rims my car is running Michelin MXV4 Plus 225/55/16 on stock SC400 rims. The load rating on these tires is 95H.

The tires I want to purchase are 225/45/18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. At this tire size the load rating is 95Y.

From my research I found 225/45/18 to be the correct tire size for 18x7's if I want to keep a a high load rating and proper rim/tire ratio compared to the stock rims and tires. Would 225/45/18 be my best choice for 18x7? Anything thinner tire the load ratings drop down to 92.

The reason I'm asking all these load rating questions is because of reading this in this thread...

I'm really confused... Do sc400's have a load rating of 96 or 94?

I bought 18x7's and now I'm realizing I should of got 18x8's. Either way is a 95 load rating enough?

Looks like I will be going with 18x11 +37, I wonder what's the widest tire I can run. I'm thinking 295/35/18 but not sure yet.

I tried doing some calculations need some experienced help correct me if i'm wrong.

Looking at a set of 3piece wheels these are the sizes.
18x8.5 30et
----9.5 38et

I want to switch the outer lips to make them 9.5j - 11j
so the outcome would be 9.5j 17et / 11j 19et is that right?

Could i fit the 11's on a 255/245 tire without a pull, with agrresive negative camber?

My other option is a set that is
18x8.5 40et -- change of lip yields 9.5 27et
----9.5 45et -- -----------------------11 26et

Thanks in advance.

I'm interested in getting Enkei RPF1s in (f)17x9 +35 and (r)17x9.5 +38. First off, would these offsets clear LS400/Supra TT calipers (an upgrade I plan on doing in the future)?

If I need spacers, what size tires should I go with?

If I don't need spacers (or decide not to get the brake upgrade), what size tires should I get?

Fenders will be rolled either way. Thanks for any help.
