I have tein CS coilovers and putting on supra TT front and rear breaks. Im ready to buy the wheels I just want to get the proper fitment to sit flush with the fender or maybe slightly tucked. Help a sc owner out
With a 17x8.5, you'll want like +10 offset if you want it to be flush. I had 17x9 +15 in front and it was flush and for-the-most-part flat with a little un-noticable camber.

In the rear with a 17x10, I'd say like a +24 ish offset would sit flush. Here's a 17x10 +12 on my car last winter.

No spacers. The FN's just come in those offsets, that's why they're so popular for those dori dori 240 drifters heh.

Those were tiny 235/40/17's. They were off a 240 so I figured I'd use 'em til they wore out, but I sold them to some other 240 owner before I got thru with them.

This was the wheel setup I have had in mind for a while now...

Rear: 18x9.5 +15
Front: 18x8 +43 or +30

Regardless of tire sizes for now, how's the setup as far as being flush. Is the +30 offset in front too much? I don't want to have to pull fender, just roll or cut.

What tires for the rear? I had 245/40 in mind. I think what I'm looking for is a very mild stretch in the rear and in the front. What are the two tire sizes that I'm looking for so that the front does not look too square in comparison to the rear?

So first question: +43 or +30 in the front?

Second Question: What size tires for a mild stretch? I don't want to run negative camber.

EDIT: And I forgot to mention something. I would like to have the possibility of running LS big brakes up front, so I would like you guys to keep that in mind. The rims are MB Battles and I heard that they do clear big brakes, but I'm sure that the front offset has a lot to do with that. I hope that I don't have to pull my fenders up front to fit the brakes if I'm obligated to get the +30 offset. I don't think so...

So any ideas on the fitment for the front and the tire sizes?

the front is gonna be HELLAsunk(haha) with those offsets. If you can get a wider wheel, that would help, but otherwise, with that skinny of a wheel, you'll probably want like +15 offset and you might have to roll it. I'd suggest a wider wheel with less offset, like a 8.5 or 9 with a +20-30ish offset.

(This is a bad picture, but you can kinda see it)
This is a 8 in front +40 something offset.

This is a 18x9 +37 in front compared to stock fenders.

to give yourself an idea of a comparison to an 8" wheel, you can go here and input the widths and offsets.

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
Edit: I see they don't offer that wheel in those fitments. Maybe you can do a 18x8 +30 with a 15mm spacer... or maybe you can pull off a 18x9.5 +23 offset with a 225/40/18 in front.

I'm putting a 18x9.5 + 20 offset in front this week. I'll post pics if you want, or PM ya with them to see the fitment. I know it will require a little camber and fender roll though.

Ok I finally took upclose pics of my setup. They are crappy iphone pics though. I need to realign the car so the rear has a gap because of all the negative camber. My car is pretty much as low as you can go for a daily driver.

Specs:
Front: 18x9.5 +24 R-Disk with 15mm spacer making it +9 225/40/18 Nankang NS2
Semi rolled. No fender liner or black fender lip. Relocated harnesses. Smoothed out everything as much as I could so it doesn't cut the tire. I want to give the front a full roll.

Rear: 18x10.5 +24 O-Disk 245/40/18 Nankang NS2
Shaved quarterpanels. Slightly pulled with a baseball bat to clear the 265/35 tires I had before. Smoothed out everything so it doesn't cut the tire.

Just bought a set of 3 piece Work Rezax

Front: 18x9.5 +31
Rear: 18x10.5 +19

I might be using a 10 or 15mm spacer upfront to make it a bit more aggressive. Other than that a slight roll and pull should do the trick with a slight tire stretch. Maybe a 255/265 in the rear.

Also going to be as slammed as I can for daily driving on my megan coilovers. Just ordered the wheels from Japan yesterday so should take 2 weeks to get in. I'll update when they do get here.

Does anyone have pics of fitment that's close to 18x12+55 in the rear. I know vntperformance had 11.5 +57mm rear I think. Just checking to see if anyone had similar fitment.

SH_JZZ30,
Very nice setup! I've been telling people that a stock body looks best with aggressive 18" wheels. The car looks very strong with meaty rubber there. You have an extra front lip there and it's even better.

I have an opportunity to purchase some 17x8.5 wheels with a +24 offset. I was wondering if this would fit my sc300 with some 245 or maybe even 255's all around? The car is lowered about an inch. I don't mind rolling my fenders, but don't really wanna do any pulling.
