You are right, the 55 series is a little big for sure but hey, the tires/wheels are something I already own from another vehicle, so, tough to beat the price. . . . and no, not lowered, stock suspension. I'm an old guy and will be giving it to my son to drive from time to time, so not looking as much for the cool factor as I am functional!

Being old shouldn't be a factor with being Cool (and sexy). I'm 43. I was actually running a 235/50/18 on a 18x8.5 wheel on the rears and on the same wheels 245/40/18 in the front. i kinda liked the beefy look in the rear.

Hey everyone.. Was wondering if I could get a little help with my fitment. I am going to use 19x10+20 with 275/35 in the rear and 19x8.5+19 in the front with 245/35. Anyone know if this is going to be rubbing? Im using k-sport coilovers with this setup and a slight to medium drop. Any input is appreciated!!!

Roll fenders for sure, might have to massage the rear fenders a bit to clear the 275s. It's probably better to use 275/30.

The setup I currently have planned for my SC goes like:

18x9.5 23 Offset in front
18x9.5 15 Offset in rear

Will 245/40 tires go well with a 9.5" wide rim? I think that's what I had in mind.

How flush will these be? Will I have to roll fenders? My idea is to not roll fenders.

alright i found a set of 17" eurolines for my SC wondering if they will work.. i dont mind rolling or modifications or spacers.. im essentially getting them for free and wanna make them work..

I didn't want to leave you hangin ESScee after I saw your post in the other thread so here's a pic of Dx3's car with the 18x8's up front and they clear fine. As for the rears that you have posted, compared to the max size of 18x10 +38, those are gonna be sunken 25 mm compared to that max rear size.

Here what I got and I barely got my car up and running about 2 weeks ago. This is a 3-4 month project for me.

The wheels are 20". My front have 3"in lip and the back have 3.5" lip. I have nitto 235 and 265 on the back. My car is not lowered at all. That's the next project but I"m not planning to drop more than 1". I live in southern cali the roads are not that great. Even undrop my front bumper has alot of skid marks allready.

Will this be too much for my Soarer?.. Will I need to roll or pull my fenders?

F: 19x8.5 235/35/19 +25 offset
R: 19x9.5 275/30/19 +29 offset

Also don't know if I should go with 18's or 19's cause I want to be able to take the car to the track sometimes.

A lil help please, i would appreciate it. Well, i got my hands on some F-sport rims made for the new IS F-sport.

they are 19 x 8 40 offset front tire recommended is 225/35/19
19 x 9 40 rear 255/35/19

I know I will need some spacers, but my question is how big a spacer will i need and if i will need longer studs, to make them flush as can be. I dont mind rolling the fenders, i just wanna make her look as sexy as i can. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

18" are preferable. I think this is the best size for looks and performance. For WiKkrk I put a 3/4" minimum to clear the caliper when the pad are new. That's what I have on mine is the pic above. The rear I have 265 and the old ones i took off are 275. My rims are deep enough to look good so I dont really need that wide of a tire.

I think ur fender might clear but it's close enough. 225/35/19 . U should be fine. If I have the choice i'll take 18" I have 20" because I own these rims from my previous 00LS4

Thanks krippled, i will look into some 3/4" spacers. With that big a spacer will i need longer studs? I'm guessing i will. But yous right, i would prefer 18 but I got these dirt cheap off a buddy, plus they only weigh 20 lbs each, i think that is awsome for 19s.

Yes, just bang them in but support the hub while you hammer. I use a 2x2 wood to absorb the shock. 40$bucks for the long stud. If u don't put long stud u will only have 3 thread left for your lugs. NOt safe at all my friend. Don't throw away your old lugs, use them to install the new studs. go slow tightening them, then bang the stud on the back to help the installation easier. If u just tighen them straight up u will break one stud atlease out of 10.

with the 3/4 spacer your rims will look nice, u dont need to go with wider tires. Optical illusion, the spacers will make the tires look wide.

on my 20"s i had to cut the splash guards a little bit. I'm customizing one rightnow. Take some pics when ur done.
