I have a tire question... Right now my front wheel/tire combo is 17x8+30 235/45. The front fenders are not rolled and the tires are not rubbing. If I changed the tires to a 245/40, the height of the tire would be shorter, but would the tires rub or would I be okay?

lookin' at a set of 19x8+30 and 19x9+30

most likely will be running 225 series on front, 245 in the rear (not a performance driver, more of a style thing)

i'm thinking i will have to roll the fender, but would like to avoid having to run more than -1.5 negative camber on any corner.

any thoughts wheel fitment gurus?

ur gonna go from a 235 to a 245, thats wider it doesnt matter how tall the tire is, if its too wide it will rub...

Actually found out the set that i'm lookin' at is 19x9+42 front, and 19x9+30 rear.

most likely i'll just do 235/245 all around to make it easy.

Will the wheels look sunken in?

yea, thats really bad offset, it might even rub on the inside +42 is alot! +30 should be nice. i got 9.5 +20 in tha bcak it sticks past my body like a centimeter or so. 30 35 should be nice, ill say 35 with a 9.5 and a 30 with 9 inch.

Damn, i was hoping it'd be okay cause of what was written on the first page/first post:

Gamer
front: rim size 18x9; offset +44; tire size 245/45/18; no fender modifications
rear: rim size 18x10; offset +49; tire size 265/35/18; no fender modifications

ideally i'd like less offset on it but i think it's there to clear bbk

Thanks to Paco for the Saleen idea...

18x9 +22 offset all around. 245/30-18 front 275/30-18 rear with a slight pull on fenders.

Yes it is dirty and yes it needs lowered, and a front lip, I agree. Lowering will come this witer along with a host of other things.

my setup with questions.

18x8 40 offset front
18x9.5 40 offset rear

obviously I think the front needs a spacer. What tires should I be able to get away with do you think. I was thinking 245/40/18 - 275/35/18 or 235/40/18 - 265/35/18. Lemmie know what you guys think and possibly which spacer I should get . thnx
