255's would look dumb... 265's would be the minimum to run on a 9.5" wide wheel unless you want that stretched look, but to accomplish that you'd have to be real low and a real aggressive fitment...

new M5 wheels? So nice.

You can get adapters and buy the actual wheels

has anyone noticed that no factory wheels come with lips?
is it because it offers better vehicle dynamics if the spokes of the wheels meet the outside face of the wheel?

Not true.
IE, E39 5-series came with lipped wheels.

lip requires a 2 or 3 piece wheel design. this costs $$$
it is much easier and cheaper to cast a single piece wheel.

Default tire size?

Hey whats up fellas! Looks like Im gonna give my TT's a rest for now and gonna breaking down and getting a set of rims. I got a question that I'd like to see what you guys suggest. I'm considering a set of rims f/r 19x9 +31 and 19x10 +37. (g35 fittment). What tire size do you guys suggest? I'm looking for a nice flush look but with some good rubber I dont want to stretch too much if I dont have too, nyc streets are rough and not very forgiving. I dont mind a givin her good roll and pull.

I feel like I read on CCW's site that their only three piece wheel is the Classics. All others are one piece, and their other wheel designs can sport some serious lip action.
