other than the really small tire sizes, the wheels will fit just fine...

if you like the wheels, roll the rear fenders and run 245/40-18 or 255/35-18 front and 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 rear with rolled fenders they'll fit perfect with no rubbing...

Hey guys, I love this thread one of the best I have seen in many forums.
I have done hours of searching and now made up my mind but just want to be sure.
Fronts: 19X8.5 35 offset
Rears: 19X9.5 40 offset
1. Will they fit with no mods to fenders???
2. Will they look good?? not too sunken?? flush??
3. how much of a drop do you guys do when running 19's?? 1 inch?? 2 inches??
4. Is it better to run a 235/35 in front or a 245/35?? (Not going for streched look)
5. If i do drop it say 1.75" will it eat tires like crazy???

All help will be appreciated.

1) Some 275's will rub in the rear. 245's will rub in the front once you are dropped. Rolling the fenders would solve both these issues.
2) I was running this exact set up for six months. It did not look right, and I am glad I switched.
3) 19s really need over a 1" drop. Espelirs would look great. I use Swift Supra springs
4) Both 235 and 245 would look normal up front.
5) I got very good tread life even after my drop. Just get an alignment and you will be gravy.

Again, I ran this exact set up. I did not like it enough to stick with it. I think 19's deserve something more aggressive to look proper. I downgraded to Supra TT 17s and absolutely love it. I ran 275s in the rear and rubbed at stock ride height. Some 275s would fit. After the camber from a drop, I bet 275s would fit without fender rolling. But, if you are going all the way with 19s, you might as well roll the fenders and get your money's worth.

(if you need a roller, I have one in my basement that I could let you borrow if you made it worth my while to ship it to you)

Here is a shot of my car with practically identical specs:

It looked good but not great as 19s deserve a more aggressive fitment. In my opinion, the Supra wheels look great as they accomplish a their look much better than did my 19s.

search for threads started by "mitsuguy". He is running very similar offsets on very similar wheel widths.

This is within 2mm of what you are looking at All told, I would consider that to be an excellent rim size and offset up front.

pretty much going to have to be pretty extreme stretches to make those work without pulling fenders... even rolled fenders will probably require 245's on the back and 235's on the front
