19x9.5 rear with a 285 35 19

285/35 will be too tall, over an inch taller than stock - this can cause issues when coupled with a real wide tire... Just do 285/30-19 - it's a tight fit, but it should work with the right offset... (I'm going to 285/30-19's when I wear out my BFG's) - the 285's are exactly 25.73" tall, which is .01" shorter than stock (essentially the same)

i might do a 275 35 19....but im not going to a 30 series...bfg dosent make 30 series in a 19 ...only a 265 and im not going that narrow...

what is so bad about being a little taller than stock?.....what is that going to affect on the rear...?
i had 295 35 18 on my old sc300....and that diameter was 26.1
the diameter on a 275 35 19 is 26.5
is that . 4 gonna make any differance?
i never had any issues on the old car

The BFG's 265's are just was wide as a 275. I have 265/30/19 on a 10.5 rear and it barely stretches. Only the top stretches the inner lip of the rim is not exposed in any way.

Horse**** - I have 275/30-19 BFG's right now...

your 275/35-19's are still 26.58" tall, stock is 25.75" tall... it may work, but especially being thats a wide fitment, it may be an issue...

gear ratio, speedo inaccuracy, and, most importantly, clearance - there's not a ton of extra room under there for a 275 or 285, let alone one taller than stock, specifically on a lowered car...

ok, just looked up the 275/30-19 on BFG's site, and sure enough, it's missing. However, I just got my 2007 BFG tire data book, and it's listed, as well as being listed in our computer, and on Tirerack.com... weird enough... Anyways, for those that want the 275/30-19's, they are listed as:
275/30ZR19/XL NT (new tread); 96Y MSPN: 97983, stock number: 936-340, rim width 9.0-10.0", section width: 11.0 on 9.5" wheel, overall diameter: 25.6", tread depth: 10/32, revs / mile @ 45 mph: 814, max load: 1565 @ 50 psi, 300 AA A

edit: after looking, they are missing a bunch of sizes off their chart online... weird...

nope, I work for an independent company in Vegas... We sell Michelin/BFG/Bridgestone (and some cheap, entry level stuff obviously)... I'm with you, I'll only do Michelin / BFG, with the addition of Bridgestone too...

I want the RPM r505. I dunno what offset they offer or what size diameter to get.

Im running stock suspension. I have 93 sc400. Im planning to just get these and directly bolt them on without fender modifications.

So basically, im planning on the 18". But i dunno what offset and diameter to get, and what tire size to get for just direct bolt on. without modifications.

Anyone know where i can get these online for cheap? please help me. Im in desperate need of rims. I have the stock chrome 10 spoke lexus rims.

PM me.

18x8 +35 fitment is guaranteed to fit and look decent...

but there are so many other fitments, especially if you want something aggressive...

315's in a Nitto Drag Radial are about the same width as a 285 BFG street tire (which fit)...

I've literally set the two side by side, and a 315 BFG Drag is a full inch wider (tread) than the Nitto is...

For a little proof, here's a pic of the Nitto 315 on an 8" wide wheel... the BFG wouldn't even think of fitting on that narrow of a wheel:

here's from the rear:

compared to a BFG Drag Radial:
