it's not really the width of the wheels, its the width of the tires... and if you are looking for traction, there's not much point in running a really wide (11.5") wheel if you are stuck with a 265 width tire...

nope... not without a pretty rowdy pull...

I originally had 295's on the rear and they rubbed pretty much unbearably... might have gotten away with it if I had had a little higher offset wheel, but with 9.5" wide and +35 offset, and rolled fenders, I couldn't have lowered the car...

so according to the last 58 pages or so, 18*10 with 45 offset should fit in the rear with only modifications being fender rolling on stock suspension. well my don't, it rubs on the suspension, even when the rim is right on the edge of the studs. i think i might have to run like 20mm spaces, if not 25mm. anyone know why?
and would i be crazy to wrap these rims up with 315/30R18 with spacers and fender rolling(stock suspunsion)?

I also have 19x9.5 R and 275's.. i think they look aite, but i was thinking a 285's would look better,no? wouldnt it look stretched mmore?

if you want stretched you need a smaller tire, like a 255 or 245 on a 9.5 but you wouldn't need to stretch unless your offsets are really low

285's would be wider, yes, and it would look more bubbly...

using BFG's specs (which are pretty similar to everyone elses) -

275's go on 9-11" wide wheel, 9.5" being optimum...

285's go on 9.5-11" wide (depending on profile), 10" being optimum....

you guys should really look at manufacturers rec specs...

Well, problem is tire diameter too... even though it may be a little bubbly, I would still go with 275/35-18 as this keeps the stock gear ratios and speedometer in check (less than .5% difference) I run 275's on my 9.5" wheels and to me the tire is an absolute perfect fit...

for the front, however, I run 255/35-18 I wanted something wide, and it's definitely wide, and fairly close to correct diameter (it's a little smallish), but looks good (click on signature pic)... If you stick with 245's, go 245/40-18, I would not go with 235's on the front at all...

mine is lowered a little over 2" and I had to roll the rear fenders to make it work... not bad at all though...

The offset is +35.

-------

From this photo below, a 265 g-force KDW2 already looks bubbly on 18 X 9 wheel:
( I copy paste the image from this thread in the classified section)

-------

I don't mind to roll my fender if that what it takes to get a 275 tire when I drop the car with Tein SS.
Basically I want a "fat" set up for my rear & I'm planning to get BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW2 for the front and rear.

One last question ...
The front is 18 X 8, offset is +35 ---> should I go with 235 or 245?

Thanks bro

Thanks for the advice, man.
I will go with 245/40 & 275/35 (BFG KDW2).

I figure the rears will look bubbly on the sidewall, but that is the look that I'm looking for.
I just want to make sure that a (BFG KDW2) 275 will fit on 9" wheel.

The other day I saw a Falken tire 275 on 9" wheel, but the sidewall looks square,
I don't really like that style.

-----

Btw, do you have a close up picture on your rear?
I saw you posted it (in the other thread) a while back.
