those are some strange specs....I would be worried with the front rim..the back should be fine.

I was running 19x8.5 +15 with a 235, had to roll the fender...

Also, with your rears, you will have to use a 245/255 with a rolled/trimmed fender to fit.

Here's a pic of the fronts with my old rims:

And your rear setup will be sitting 2mm inwards compare to my rears below:

Hope that helps...

Nice nice... Do you have any more pics of the roll by any chance??? How much is your car lowered by? There's a set of wheels I'm into that are similar spec (19x9/+23 fronts and 19x10/+22 rears)... except the tyres are too chunky and will need to replace them for probably 235/35 fronts and 265/30 rears.

From reading this thread, the lower offset moves the wheels outward away from the rotor (thus allowing bigger brakes)

but looking at the diagram from tire rack
it looks like the opposite is true, where a GREATER offset allows bigger brakes...

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

Same from Discount Tire's page
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/inf...Mlw9pkpS2dvzfQ

so who's right?

well it also depends on the design of the wheel as well. sometimes companies have high/low disk options which allow different brake clearances. (I believe that higher pads provide more clearance correct me if im wrong) so the answer really depends on the wheel offset and design together

Correct.

On a one piece wheel for example the 5Zigen FN01RC, they use a larger back pad to lower the offset. This pushes the wheels further out from the car and increases brake caliper clearance. 17x10 +12 has more brake clearance than 17x10 +25

If its a 3 piece wheel, you want High disc. Offset will not affect the amount of brake clearance on a 3 piece wheel.

I think you are reading the diagram wrong. A higher offset will never increase brake clearance. If anything it will give you problems especially on a 1 piece wheel.

Front:
Volk GTC Face 2
18x9
+42 offset
245/40/18

Rear:
Volk GTC Face 1
18x10
+44 offset
275/35/18

I trimmed 1/4 inch off of the rear wheel opening molding. NOT the lip on the rear 1/4 panel! Just the wheel opening molding. It only rubbed over big bumps before, now it doesn't rub at all.

Suspension is bone stock.

looks good, I'd lower her a tad though and it'd be perfect...
