They will match. I had 19x8.5 +15, not aggressive at all, still tucked...so I think you should be fine...

You won't be flush, but it won't look super bad either..

Since the VIP fad has hit the US, people are pushing the envelope on how much tires can be streched on wide wheels, Japan has pushed it pretty far, running 225s on 11 inch wheels, which looks nice but crazy (IMO), with that said I think we need to inform the members of what is the reality of what streched means (there is a big gray area)

People that are into wide wheels with low offsets don't really think that a 275 on a 10.5 wheel is not streched at all but the fact of the matter is...it is streched. People mention square; a squared tire is streched. The recommend width on a 275 tire is a 9-10 inch wheel which produces a sidewall buldge.

Obviously, we all have our own variations and opinions on what is streched and what is not. but we should start by taking a basic model wheel with the recommend tire size and go from there.

Though I don't really know what Technics considers streched?? I would think that the best way to inform people is to post pics of wheels with tire like we're doing in this thread. Great job guys!

Back to my point if we take a 10" wheel and put a recommend tire size on it (275) and use that as our base, then 275 on a 10.5" wheel is considered...a mild strech.
a 275 tire is approx 11in. wide. Putting it on a 10.5 wide wheel is mild because the tire is still technically wider than the rim. I do, however, agree that depending on the tire model, the actual shape/stretch will vary and that having more pics and info will help everyone.

I bring over Minervas from Japan all the time (used ones in decent fitments). You might not be able to find them new anymore but they are still available.

Don't worry, it will fit...I'm running 19x10 +29...had to trim the fender for that...

You should be fine with no mods...if anything, maybe just removing the black strip around the fender arches...

Tires front are 255/35/19 BF Goodridge Comp-TA KDW
Tires rear are 285/30/19 BF Goodridge Comp-TA KDW

I suggest you go to a smaller tire if you want it to fit...

235/245 front...
255/265 rear...

Nice wheels, tires are no good (sizing wise)...

I'm with roo and ACleanSC4 Those BFG's run larger than normal. I put a 265 next to a Nitto 275 and the 265 was larger. I'm running the same tires you suggested but with 245 on a 9" and 265 on a 10.5" Next go around I'll go with 235 on the 9".

Allen, hope you read this before you make your decisions... You don't have to go crazy stretched tire to make that fit...

I have 19x9.5 +35 on the rear of my car with 275/30-19's on it.. the fenders are rolled and the tires are close, but I would bet 285's would fit as well... I have Supra TT struts and Tein S-Tech springs...

I don't see why everyone wants these NARROW *** tires on their cars - they handle for crap (in comparison to the proper widths) and honestly, the wheel sticking out like that just looks horrid too...

As far as the notes above about stretching tires, you can find approved wheel widths for tire sizes on any tire manufacturers website... Not saying I follow them to the T, but you should at least stay close in specs...

Cody,

285's, especially BFG"s, on a 9.5" rim will look like crap...PERIOD! Some tires such as the Dunlop Direzza, have a slanted sidewall and you can get away with a wider tire and still clear the fenders...

And how is recommending a 265 on a 9.5" rim considered stretching?

Please don't start with the comments on aggressive wheel fitment, no one talks about your staggered 18" and 19" TSW's

No disrespect taken bro All the manufacturers have different width's. I had Falken 451's and the 265 series tires were not even as wide as my BFG G Force 245's. I guess setting up a chart with different tires would help with some of the questions here.

Don't pay me no mind man, my whole point was to find out what would be considered a stretch but based on what I'm hearing I may not have to stretch my tires to get what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to find a balace between looks and function for my wheels. Pretty soon I'll be putting down some good RWHP but I want to look good too.
