I have 18"X8" on the front with 245/40 and +33 offsets, they do just fine, but my rear is 18"X9" with 265/35 and +33 offsets as well, now whenever I have a full car and hit a dip in the road I scrape and when pulling out of my friend's akward driveway my tires rubbed, no way it's doing it on the outter fender but it looks like it's happening on the inner still running the stock suspension but am afraid to lower it now because of this, what do you all think? tires too big? offsets not right? help!

will this work?

20x8.5 +35 (front) and 20x8.5 +12 for rear 245/35/20 tires.

i'm wondering if i'm going to have problems in the back w/ the +12

thank you.

i'm looking to put the wheels from this car onto mine.

Ok I know I shouldn't even bother asking but I found this nice set of new Work Miester S1 2P for sale. I know there is no way in hell this offset will work.

F) 18x9 -5 offset
R) 18x10 -10 offset.

Correct me if I'm wrong cause I really would love to purchase these wheels. I know some of the old skewl heads might know.

at best you would need a big fender pull, stretched tires and lots of negative camber

Well, I got my wheel tire issue straightened, and for now, im happy. I have the 295/35 bfg radials on the rear at a nice height, and ended up doing a 255/35 on the front. Next time around, i may try a 40 in the front. Mind you, im going for a different look that most here, and trying to keep the car feeling comfy while putting thick power to the ground. Some asked for pics of the rear, here they are:

Once I put the car back on the road, i may lower the front more, raise the rear, etc...But, im quite happy with how it sits, and these pics do it no justice!

Josh

Those 295's are lookin mean. I think the 255's worked out pretty good on the front too. It's not way stretched out like the 245's. Lookin good all around. What are you doing regarding the rubbing issue? Also, what's the story with your engine? Is that a GE engine with GTE valve covers getting ready for a TT style intake manifold, or is the car swapped?

If you want them to fit right, then yes. If you want to run a billion degress of negative camber, 4X undersized tires (seems to be overly popular on this board) and roll your fenders, then you'll have no problems at all. It probably wont be all that bad, but then again, I wouldnt go with a 20X8.5 anyway.

Web, The front can go to full lock both weays and hasnt rubbed, although the car hasnt been driven at this height. Im hoping I can lower it another inch on the front and get away with it. Some local guys have a shop called warpaint customs, and they want to do some metal work to all fenders and make some subtle flares.

Those are TT valvecovers on an NA longblock. I am in the middle of finishing my sheetmetal intake and am using a wilson 90mm tbody. This is a 6speed car and has all the right parts to put 700+ to them BFG's

That is a lot of tire !

I think your going to have issues with rubbing unless you roll at 4x4 height. The specs were chosen with stretched tires in mind. I'd like to see how the flares turn out. Good luck!

hi all,
will these actually fit the sc ?

someone here is selling them. they are 20inch x 8.5" wide
the tire specs are a little larger diameter wise compared to the stock sc 225/55/16r

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...9&page=1&pp=15

will the car ride too high on 20s?
