im running coilovers also, so my ride height is adjustable if it rubs too much with how low i want my car to sit

Wow, what a huge thread. I just finished reading all 34 pages... got tired of all the fights after midway, so I just skipped whatever seemed to be strong opinions. Lots of great information here though. If someone had the time, they should gather all or most info here on 17-20s and post it on the first page with the pictures for great examples. It would make the "search" button more helpful. If you could only search through threads the way you could search through the forum, it would be convenient.

Well after reading everything, I decided that I don't want to mess with the front fenders, but don't mind a full roll on the rear fenders. Opinions on this setup would be nice. I am looking for a flush look, flush as in LexAnts or similar to Roos, but I prefer LexAnts.

I have stock suspension for now, but will later get coilovers.

Front - Fender - No modding required correct? Comments? Will rub in harsh roads or driving?
18x8.5 +36 with 235/40/18

Rear - Fender - Fully rolled - Don't want to pull, if doesn't clear what are options? Comments?
18x11 +28 with (265/275)/40/18

Thanks

this is confirmed... i have 10.5 +22 rear with 275's on.... and the fender sits on the tire when i drop her down

i'm gonna have to stretch a 255 on there and throw some negative camber

my fenders are shaved BTW (equivalent of rolling)

yea dude.... the 275/35 is too big of a side profile for the SC

275 on a 10.5 +22 will require a combo of negative camber and a GOOD rolling or shaving of the fender.

I'm trying to research right now the best tire to stretch on a 10.5 and what's the skinniest i can stretch (i'm thinking a 255/35

Yes. Those are 350Z tire sizes.
235/35/19 and 265/30/19 would fit much better on the SC.

255 would be a nice safe stretch on 10.5"

The Falken ST115 is great for stretching. They are affordable, quiet and last a long time as well. They are discontinued now though so may be hard to find. Falken FK452 is replacing them and I've heard good things about them so far. They are a little bit more expensive though

I had 245/35/19 ST115 on 19x10 and was happy.

damn.... yea i have ST115's right now (265s on a 9" width rim).... i love these tires... but they don't make'em anymore....

okay... i hope 255/35 on a 10.5 rim will survive the occasional pothole and construction steel plate

The rear sounds ok, might need a lil more camber than my setup but should work. The fronts...well, let's just say if i was going for only looks, i'd have 18x10+15. I say roll your front fenders and go with an 18x10+24 like I have now. You won't regret it and it will be crazy flush.

ive got 19x10 +26 in the rear. I am now running 285/30/19 on em. I was wondering if 275/30/19 would be enough of a stretch to not rub in the rear.

I have my fenders shaved.

yea... if i can run a 255/35 on a 10.5 (well i haven't yet but everyone's told me 255's are still somewhat safe) a 265 should do you well on a 10

Racinstyles, I'm not suprised the 285s were too much with that size.

Just get his 265 Falken FK451 and call it a day.

Hey yall, traction/comfort is my goal, and here is what im using right now

18x11 +28 CCW--295/35/18 BFG Drag Radial
18x10 +24 CCW--275/40/18 BFG KDW(about to mount)

My question is, has anyone ever used a 10 up front and a 275/40 on it? If so, how was ride/rubbing? Most of you guys seem to be stretching the tire in order to rock the car to the ground. But with my setup the car makes good power, and im more concerned with getting it to the ground, and staying with a more conservative fitment./height. Also, i have already used the wheels on the car with 275/245 and to me it just doesnt feel like a lexus anymore. Feels like some ole lowered honda, even with nice coilovers and all bushings. Thanks in advance

Josh
