ok..after looking and reading all 31 pages about wheel and tire fitment..
i decided to go for

18x8.5 front +35
18x9.5 rear +35

does that sound good?

but now..what about tires? whats a good size to run?
why is it that....poeple have for example
235/40/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the rear? is the rear pose to be thinner??

sorry im use to having a honda..n just having everything match (non staggered) n just do 215/40/17..haha

but yes..i sure did learn about about offsets and what not...never knew all this info..and to think all i use to t hink of is the wide and size of the rim..man was i in the dark for the longest..lol

That's the same exact setup I had when I had 18's I had to roll my rear fenders. My suspension setup was Espelir's and Tokico Blues I'll try to find some pics.

Here's info from page 3 they are not 19's but pics should gave idea.

CL Member Name: Jc4dint
Rim Brand and Type: DTM Kreuz 16 spoke 3 Pc
Rim Size f/r: 20 x 10.5 : 20 x 11.5
Rim Offset f/r: ??? but it clears big brakes.
Tire Size f/r: 245 / 275 stretched = curb rash
Suspension Setup: Tein Basic 3 in. drop & 1.8 neg camber(r)
Comment On Ride: stiff but bearable
Fender Modifications: Rolled and pulled out probably a half inch. Removed linings, washer reservoir & relocated wiring.
Any other comments: Hard to peel out, PITA to clean, but when it's clean, yumm.
Picture: The pics below are before I pulled the fenders, they're just rolled then.

You'll have quite a bit of trouble getting these to fit. Pulling your fenders is your issue here.
And I don't know how you'll fit 10.5 and +18 with stock fenders. You sure can try!

well my buddy's friend has some 18x8.5f and 19x9.5 r and im sure they have an offset of +41. im thinkin thats it, but im not too good with the offsets yet. they r hp evos and their off an nsx. thgey have the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern but will they fir without hitting the brakes and the fenders. im on stock height and stock brakes. Will they clear supra brakes if i decide to get em? They have a 3.5in lip in back and im not sure bout the front. They will cost me bout $800-$900 range for the set with the rear tires but not the front. IS this good for my car?

I thought the HP Evo's were +38 offset??

Anyway, this setup will clear stock brakes and probably also will work without having to do any fender mods, since you are stock height you will have 4x4 status tho

Yours: (hub to edge of wheel not including flange)
Front: 115.35
Rear: 119.7
245 and 265 would work fine.

As far as stock fenders the most aggressive I've seen is workaholics
18x10 +24 245/35 Toyo t1r 103
18x11 +28 275/35 Toyo t1r 111.7

Yours would stick out of the stock fenders 12mm front, 8 mm rear. You will need to pull the fenders slightly front and rear or run neg 4-5 deg camber.

Hey Fellas -

I am sizing up a set of rims for my SC and want to solicit your advice:

18x9.5 +28
18x10.5 +28

My questions are - what size tires would you recommend running? Also, do you think fender modifications will be necessary? I am lowered on Espelir springs with about 1.5" drop. Thanks in advance.

Hell yea fender mods needed there bro I would go with the same setup workaholic has 245 fronts 275 rears. go with toyo's for the stretch you will need a tire with round sidewall.
