Well on topic of my previous post, my buddy and 2 others say that the 245 50 R16's will fit on my rims which currently seat 225 55 R16's......anyone have any opposing views?

Scratch this post, i checked on the back rim which verified everything...... 16 x 7 ....gay....

I've seen other pics of that blue s14 and although I love aggressive wheel fitment, the front always looks odd to me. I think he should get a pair of more conservative front wheels.
No spacers on my car....you guys probably get sick of seeing my specs but here they are again:

18x10+24 255/35/18 (Vertex +25mm fenders)
18x11+19 265/35/18 (fenders rolled and pulled)

On Steve's S14, he has 0 faces on the front which required spacers to clear his calipers. It's more than an extreme fitment, it's insane. I couldn't rock that on my own car but I give him props for doing it.

Mongoose, you're a good guy so don't let an opinion turn into an argument. I think your point has been made quite clearly on your stance, and that's the end of it.

Since this thread has been going along so well for so long we are going to start handing out temp bans for any strife brought into it from this post forward.

It's nice to see a good long thread with good info keep going so rather than lock it, we'll just start eliminating the problem.

Keep it going.
O.L.T., two things....

1.) Could you just start deleting posts like what mongoose posted? This thread is supposed to be informative and helpful. Unfortunately, posts like his are turning the thread into "hot or not" for wheels. One liner posts with nothing to contribute to the thread other than a disrespectful opinion don't do anyone any good and most likely discourage others from posting pictures and specs.

2.) Can a brotha get a sticky?! This is probably one of the most interesting and informative threads on club lexus....

ACleanSC4,

Thank you for the information.
You didn't mention tire size, or if you've rolled/trimmed/pulled your fenders.

I want to run 1-2 fingers over the tire, no pulling, no rolling (if I can get away with it).
No rubbing is also important

Still think the 20's offsets are what I want?
Has anyone seen these rims on an SC?

Thanks

If you aren't willing to roll or stretch you can never be flush. Unless you don't mind rubbing ever time you drive the car!

I pmed OLT regarding making this is a sticky, but I am told changes are coming with FAQ.

Such an informative post guys. I have first gen GS3 which runs similar offsets to the SC. Now, thanks to this thread, I have guidelines and parameters to work off of. So now I guess it's time to search for new wheels!. Oh and by the way, I'm not the conservative type when it comes to offsets either!

new'er pics than what was posted earlier.

have about an inch gap between tire and fender, i could go lower but that would be crazy considering the bodykit and that the car is a daily driver.

I'm looking at getting some SSR D5R 19" Bronze Wheels. Front: 19x8.5 +30mm and Rear: 19x10 +37mm. I'm not sure what size tires to run, maybe 245-255 in the front and 275-285 in the rear? So, if you guys could help me with that I would really appreciate it. I have a full Vertex Aero Kit including the aero fenders. I've been looking at pics and reading but I'm still not sure how these wheels will fit. I want to try to stay away from any fender modifications if possible. Thanks!!!

well judging from my own wheels and tires, if you dont drop it you should be fine with your fitment. given that the fenders are wider which you said you have. the fronts would be the only problem with stock height. you can run 235/35 or 245's up front, and 275/30 or 285 out back and still be ok. if you drop her that's another story all together, and you should consider fender mods. gluck.

im no expert on wheel fitment, or nearly as knowledgable as the other members on this thread, just my opinion.
