ive already had a 18x9 +40 245 40 18 (sunken in) and a 18x10 +35 265 35 18 (tire was flush streched,neeeds to come out at least a half inch) .... and i managed to clear effortlessley with the fendors rolled the way i have em... with that i think my setup i suggested would be perfect im just wondering of 245s will still fit up front

+35 on a 9.5" wheel and a 275 width tire will need to have the fenders rolled...

I will admit though, now that I run more negative camber (-2.5), there is more clearance... still would need the fenders rolled, but not as badly...

i currently have 19 x 8.5 (235/35) and 19 x 10s out back (275/30), both front and rear are +35mm offset. the SC is dropped 2 inches and rub ever so slightly up front on turns and i have the rears cut with no problems.

wanted to ask whether 18 x 9 (235/40) and 18x10 (265/35) will pose a problem with +25 offset. i do not want to modify the the fenders anymore on my car except for maybe a slight roll upfront. i care more for the wheel sizes rather than the tires as i can change them. if the wheels will fit what size tires would make it all just perfect?

can anyone tell me a good size for 17 inch rims so the tires look skinny aka low profile like the car wit gold rims above. also why does it look so fly any one know what he did to it?

Let me ask something of all of you... I ask you stop telling people to 'just search'. It bumps the thread over and over, creates conflicts like this and provides absolutely no value.

As an alternative (if you do want to post a reply) tell the person to search, give them a link to advanced search and tell them what keywords to use and some hints. Link a couple of threads you find.

Tell them to search - drive new members away.
Teach them to search - make a friend of a new member.

so u say 17s will not make an sc have that low profile look. Why is it some cars look the way they do is it that they lower the car in the front and raise it on the back and if itis that can u lower a car urself or do u have to go to the mechanic. Could it possibly be that people put bigger tires in the rear and smaller ones in the front. Please im trying to make my car look like the green one wit gold rims. look below. Please help.

To achieve that look, you will need 18" or 19" wheels that are wide; 9" front, 10" rear, or wider with low offset (+20mm or so) wheels, and stretched tires (245's or 235's)

the car will need to be lowered on either supra shocks w/ aftermarket springs or a full coilover setup, and the fenders will need to be rolled to prevent rubbing...
