So I am going to buy some Racing Hart M5's and the back of them reads 18x8 1/2 J OFF 17.... Does that mean it has an Offset of +17 or am I not seeing the right part that tells me this info? I am going to buy them tomorrow and they where on an 04' 350z so I am just unsure of if they will fit right. I already have coilovers so I will be lowered and want to make sure if I need to do a fender roll or not.

Any help with this will be great. Thanks

Should fit but it will be sunken in a little up front, a lot more in the rear.

So even with a +17 it will still be sunk in... So by a little do you mean like 1" or do you mean just barely sunk in. I just want flush but not Hellaflush right now...

Provided my calculations are right, the front will be sunken in about 3/4" and the rears a tad over 1". You should look for some staggered sets instead, our cars are RWD and the rear fenders fill out better with wider wheels.

Well we will see what they look like and I am going to see if they maybe staggered because he only sent one pic and also didn't seem to know much about offset at all. Hopefully they are staggered.

Thanks for your input thought I appreciate it.

no link that I can look at? Pretty sure if they didn't tell you different sizes, then it's 18x7 +17 all around.

I'm going to post all four setups I've had/have for the benefit of the people in this thread:

A. OEM IS350 wheels
Sizing: (F) 18x8.0 +45 / (R) 18x8.5 +50
Tires: (F) 225/40-18 / (R) 255/40-18
Suspension: Espelir springs, OEM shocks
Ride height: About 2 finger gap all around
Fitment: (F) no fender mods, OEM style fitment / (R) no fender mods, OEM style fitment

B. Luff M1 wheels
Sizing: (F) 19x8.5 +38 / (R) 19x10.5 +43
Tires: (F) 215/35-19 / (R) 265/30-19
Suspension: Tein CS coilovers
Ride height: 10mm gap between fender and top of tires
Fitment: (F) no fender mods, OEM style fitment / (R) slight fender roll, wheel flush with fender

C. Work Meister S1 3-piece
Sizing: (F) 19x8.5 +24 / (R) 19x10.5 +23
Tires: (F) 235/35-19 / (R) 275/30-19
Suspension: Tein Type-Flex coilovers
Ride height: fender even with top of tires
Fitment: (F) fender roll, wheel lip intside fender edge / (R) roll and pull, wheel lip outside fender

D. Work Meister S1 3-piece
Sizing: (F) 19x9.5 +19 / (R) 19x10.5 +20
Tires: (F) 235/35-19 / (R) 275/30-19
Suspension: Tein Type-Flex coilovers
Ride height: (F) 10mm tuck / (R) 5mm tuck
Fitment: (F) roll and pull, wheel lip outside fender edge / (R) roll and pull, wheel lip outside fender edge (that so-called "hella flush" look LOL)

I want to buy ssr gt1 wheels that came off a s200.They are 18X9 in the rear and 18X8 in the front with stretched tires 235 in the rear and 215 in the front. The rear has a 55 off set will these look good on a SC300?

Only if you like your rear wheels/tires to be sunken in 2 inches. I think OEM wheels aren't even that far sunken in... so the answer is no.
