I cannot guarantee that a 12" will fit under a stock body, I don't have a factory fender for reference. I do know that a 11" will have no issue, though it will be sunken it you don't plan on stretching a tire. Don't have an exact offset but I think low 50's should work.
Is there a reason for your search of a 12" width?

^, There is some validity to that. If you have plenty of power to put down you would be throwing away money at tires; as a simple street tire will not put the power down.
It's more in the compound than the size of a tire. If it's for looks, it's going to be hard to out fit any Z car under factory fenders.

Also I know what u mean wit out fitting a z, so then your saying a 18x11 rear will need a fender roll in the rear will a 18x10 in the front require cutting or pulling?

OK, so I see everyone is doing 18-19's and even some 20's...I have only found one owner (3rotor) that has done 17's but the tire size and rim width are too much for me ($). And they were only done in the rear. So i have been thinking of some 17x9 235/45/17 tires all the way around (daily driver and would like to rotate my tires to make them last as long as possible ). Offset I'm not sure of. Has anyone experienced 17's all they way around? If so advice would be awesome. A friend of mine has some 17x9 and he says the offset is +12 but he is not sure. Would these work? If so what would be an ideal stance with them?

^, You can run 17's no problem. If the offsets are indeed +12, they are pretty aggressive for a stock body with a finger gap all around. You would need an aggressive cut on the rear fenders. As far as the front, to me it seems way too aggressive with normal tires. I would suggests at least a 245/45.

There is over 200 pages and I have spent over an hour looking through this thread and still not sure what tire size to get. I am currently running a 19x8.5 F rim with a 245/35/19 and I am looking for a smaller tire with a very little stretch to it. What size do I get ????

A 12" rear is possible, offset and tire choice are critical and fenders must be modded. I may be going with a 18x12 with 315/30/18's. I'm doing research on what the offset will be but I'm guessing no lower than +52. My concern is more with the inside and shock clearance. Will post something up if I pull the trigger.
