Hey well lots of stuff that isnt needed in the car is being taken out. Well im in the trunk and on both sides of the car are these two vent looking like things in the quarter pannel of the car. Heres a pic to help out also. Well im just trying to find out what exactly these thing are for or if needed at all.

there trunk pressure release things, i cant really explain it but REDPHEONIX can, cause he explained it to me. just put your hand under the car directly below where those things are and close your trunk lid, then you'll know what im talking about

 

since the pictures aren't working on my computer i'll take a guess at what your looking at. I believe it is the exhaust for the gas tank...maybe? or just to relieve the pressure in the car since it is pretty air tight.
