Default suggestions for leaky head gasket

supposedly my car has a leaky head gasket. Just wondering if anyone knows of a simple/cheap fix, because right now it is just a small leak, and quotes for replacing it are between $1600 and $2000.

First, if you have an engine related question I think you would get much more responses in the SC300 Engine/Performance section. Please read the rules before you post.

Second, if you have a leaky headgasket it is highly HIGHLY recommended that you get it replaces. There are NO cheap fixes. Its like repairing a cracked piston with bubble gum.

PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES

If its got a BHG, then you've got a decision to make. Either pull the motor and tear it apart to swap the headgasket, or pick up a dirt cheap longblock in good shape for cheap; and just swap it over.

Pulling motor = easy
Tearing motor apart and then reassembling = hard.
