SC400 Air bag light is on. How do I fix?
Just like the title... the Airbag light is on. What do I do? The air bag is intact so I see... This car has one air bag I think.
Thanks,
Mark

On your DLC connector there is 3 rows of pins. Top row has 2 pins, space and 2 more pins. Middle row will have 7 pins. Bottom row will have 6 pins. Jump the 2 middle pins on the bottom row (the one with 6 pins) with the key turned on, motor off / not running. Count the flashes of the airbag light. That is your DTC. Don’t worry, the airbag light dose not mean that it will go off at any time. The airbag ECU has found a problem that will not let the system finish its readiness checks.

Don't do the fix mentioned above!! It may be a real problem caused by many things. Have you taken out any of the front seats? I remember when i took my driver seat out the airbag light was showing. I would go and get it checked out man!

Reset your light and see if it comes back, if there is a problem it will reset itself. If there is no problem it will not.
It's a good system... it works. Spending $200+ to have your car checked and told there is no issue, they just reset the light is not smart. That's why the car has a built in code system.
You have aftermarket amps and stereo in your car so there's a million ways it could have been triggered.

The airbag light is there to tell you that the system is not in good operating condition. It DOSE NOT mean that the airbag will go off in your face while driving. It is telling you that if you have a accident, there is a chance that it will NOT go-off. Pull codes and reset the light and go from there.

Sorry was not aware that if it was a real problem then it would come back on! I thought it was a way to reset the codes like the dealership dose it if there comps without spending money.
Well then in that case do it man.
