looks like the pads you got have the built-in shims. you need the spring clip that fits between the pads (held in place by the pins).

thanks everyone...still not 100% sure what i am missing, gonna swing by a toyota dealership and find out

i wont be installing them for awhile as I need to find BBK wheels first, but I will keep everyone updated.

do I need seperate longer/shorter bolts like the ls400 BBK needs? or can I just use the factory bolts?

Are the supra TT brakes better than the LS brakes? I just see a lot more people putting on the LS brakes more than TT.

Im not gonna say one is better than the other, all i have heard is the LS are lighter and are a newer design than the TT, otherwise the stopping power is better on the TT and the looks are by far better.

the LS are much much much less expensive than the TT, thats y you see more people with them.....

they DO NOT say Lexus on the calipers....you have to buy a sticker and put the sticker on the caliper. then I would recommend clear coating over the sticker with high temp paint otherwise it will burn off quickly

I think the reason the TT calipers stop better is because of the size of the rotors. I could be wrong though.

TT Brakes Are HEAVY!

Adding supra tt wheels and brakes adds a ton of unsprung weight.

You can bury the brake pedal from 140 with TT brakes and have like 0 fade.

I have TT brakes but I'd like to try LS brakes.
