Default Best Road Racing Set Up?

Best Road Racing Set Up?

On my SC300 What's the Lowest Offset I can Run and still have the widest tires in 18in Rims before rubbing No Rolled fenders? Front and Rear.

I have 1in Drop on Coilovers but can adjust up or down.

Looking for Flush wheels to body. Will that be a problem for road racing or is it better to be a little recessed?

I would like to put 285 or 295 on.

If I had 285/35R18 what offset would I need to not rub fender

If I had 275/35R18 what offset would I need to not rub fender

I've done a lot of searching on here but can't find the max Tire/Rim set up for Road racing.

Also how do you make sure to get the right Rim to Fit LS400 Calipers on? Just get High fitment front wheels? or does offset matter?

Ok, does anybody have a good TIRE recommendation for the following rims?

17x8.5 +30

17x10 +38

what is a good section height(sidewall height) for high speed cornering and take offs. As I understand it its better to have a little more sidewall height for cornering give and take off give otherwise you'll be spinning your tires with too small of profile.

For road racing I would use a 40 series 17 I would use a 40 or 45 series tire. I only use Potenza Re-01R here in japan. I guess they just started offering them in the states. I run 285's out back and had to roll/flare my fenders. Then again, i have 18x11 + 28 offset

Very nice. What size tire are you running in the front if you have 285 in back?

I've heard too small of tire up front causes under steer and too big tough wheel well fitment and harder on steering.

Was think BF KDW 255/45/17 front 285/40/17 Rear. Sidewall hight is amost exactly the same by like .03 inch.
