Default LS430 wheels

I see those 05 LS430s with those fat 5 spoke wheels. Any of you guys around here run those wheels on your SC? 18X7.5 I believe.

If so, any one have a pic?

There is a guy in Chicago who runs those on his 95 SC400...pretty nice looking waaayy better than the SC430 swap.

He's not a member, so no pics.

I can't for the life of me understand the people with the SC430 rims. Saw a 97+red 400 this weekend in San Diego with SC430 rims. Maybe they are blind?

Yeah the LS430 rims look really good, and was wondering how it would look good on the SC. Thoughts on market price?

I had my eyes on these for a year, but couldn't find a pre-owned set! I love the look of these wheels plus it clears the big breaks and are 18's!

Anyone know what the stock width of the 98 SC300 16 inch wheels are? They are running 225s from the factory.

What size tires can one put on the 7.5 width LS430 wheels?

eww 18x7.5 is bad. probably has a high offset too. I think these cars should have atleast a 8.5-9 wide rim. but if you must 225/40/18 or 235/35/18

just my 02cents

Calm down buddy. My other SC has 18X9 on the front and 18X10 on the back. New SC will have 19X9 on front and 19X11 on back, so I am aware 18X7.5 isn't that great.

THe stock car has 6.6 width as posted above, and we are rolling, aren't we. I like having 3-4 sets of wheels per car, so I need a stock set. Everybody has the TT wheels, and I was thinking of a different set, and thought of these. Not bad, imo.

I believe the stock 5 spoke wheel of the 97+ SC300 are 16x7.5, 50 offset. Thats why they run the 225-55-16 tire size from the factory.
