So I was working on a 00 celica the other day and noticed that the automatic shift **** looked a lot like ours, except for it was actually nice!! There is an od button on the side except for the wires are continuous from the top of the inside of the **** all the way down through the counsel. I know with ours its a plug or something right? Anyway... anyone ever thought about trying this?

 

yeah, a while back someone was doing it and I *think* the steering wheels. try a search

 

I tried to swap in the Celica shifter some time ago. It required quite a bit of modification and in the end, it sat too tall. I gave up and swapped in a gated shifter from the newer SC models.
