Greetings All..I am a newbee to this posting board. However, I am a long time proud owner of a 1992 SC 400. Since the inception of my ownership I have experienced the following conditions with "my baby..". 1. regardless of what type of gasoline I use there is a "ping or rattle when I floor it. 2. It almost sounds like the car is running on fuel in which the octane is too low. I am at my wits end on what could be the problem. I have been told that this was a "flaw"with the 1992 SC 400. Any help will be appreciated. THIS IS A SUPER-GREAT-WEB SITE..I'm hooked.
