My engine shut down....

Default My engine shut down....

This morning when i floor my sc4, it respone normally then when i stop at the red light i see my RMP go up and down then the engine just shut down. What is going on with my SC? Please help me out.
Thanks

95 SC400, 81K miles, recently change sparkplug + wires, timing belt, ignition coil.

Apparently ur IAC valve is dirty , I had the same problem with my ES 300 97 , after cleaning the IAC valves it was fixed. Search the forum for IAC valve

more info? was the A/C on? did u decelerate really quick? were u DRIVE or 1st or what? does it just happen when ur at a full stop or on the way to a stop

The A/C was off, I decelerate normal just like i stop at any redlight, I was in DRIVE mode, It happend when I'm at full stop waiting for greenlight. Thanks for all your reply.

Try cleaning your throttle body too.

im a noob but what is iac valves? i tried searching but i couldnt find anything

IACV= idle air control valve. controls and maintains a steady idle.

and where can i fine this at any pictures? maybe this might be the same problem for me.
