Default SC 400 Pricing

I've been thinking long and hard long term about my SC400 and i've come to a bold conclusion that you guys might not like lol

i'm considering to stop trying to put money into my SC400 and instead just save up for a Supra which is my first love

my question is... What should i expect to get for a 1996 Black SC400 in amazing condition with 20% premium tint and an over 2000$ aftermarket sound system... its got 120k miles on it

and also, how much should i be paying for a good supra... i think 95+ on the year is what i should go for, i also want the 2JZ Twin Turbo model as well... color isn't a big deal

i'm not asking for exact quotes but advice on what i should be looking to sell for and pay for

i'm just scared that i'm gonna put a lot of money into the SC and not like it, but i've always had a special place for the supra

thanks guys

You're not on my poop list for wanting a Supra. Around WA that would sell for around $13,000-$15,000.

nah i just want to get the Stock Twin Turbo Supra

my only question is what are the differences made from 93-98

so far i've come up with this...
side view mirrors a bit different
and headlights a bit different

not sure if engines are different in twin turbo 93 to twin turbo 98

also what would be a good price for my SC to sell at, hopefully enough to pay for this supra

I think the VVT HP gain was 30. 260 to 290. Could be wrong though...

no its only 320 to 325, i researched it in multiple places, you'll have to excuse my laziness for not linking you lol

but i think i'm going to sell my friend my SC400 for 10k
thats what Kelly Blue Book told me to sell it for and hes not questioning the price, hes going to Clemson this spring to go to college and his parents are upgrading him from his tank volvo to a new car

hes in love with my SC 400 so i think i might have a buyer if this Supra works out, just not enough aftermarket support for the SC, and the Supra has more potential

i'm young and reckless so naturally i want the supra, SC has more of a luxury feel, something im not ready to settle down for yet

so hopefully if this all works out i will have 2k to invest in a body kit for that Supra as soon as i get it...

EVERYONE WISH ME LUCK THAT WHEN I GO VISIT THE OWNER IN MISSISSIPPI THAT IT ALL CHECKS OUT GREAT!!!

i hate to tell you 8k for w twin turbo sounds like a scam, they are more in the 20K+ range, look on ebay and see for yourself, na's pull 12-15K. Your talking 2 and a half times the worth of your current car to get a clean one.

Believe me something is wrong with it. I myself have had 2 supras (one I still own) and the first one I paid 27K for and the 2nd I paid 28.5K for. If you are looking for a GOOD Supra you need to have around 25K, more than that for a really nice one. I love my newly owned SC400 and it is my daily and it is a great, great car. I just recently added a full system and it already came with a bodykit, wheels, ect...and I get as many looks in my SC as I get in my Supra. Good thing not everyone in the world wants to race you, that gets annoying after a while.

Multiple things wrong with this. First off I don't mean to bash you but come on man. You need to wrong a damn VIN or something cause there is no way that a TT supra is selling for 8K, something is wrong with it. MISSISSIPPI!!!!! KATRINA, is what I am thinking. That car is trash probably, think your options through. SC400> POS Supra. Also 2K on a supra body kit, come on man. It hurts me everytime when I see a cheaply put together Supra. You should be spending atleast a grand to put nice paint on a full body kit. My body kit cost me over 9K total, although it was a widebody kit.

And to all yalls VVTi whatever; who cares, it doesn't mater. It's a 2JZ, you should be dropping a single instead of worring about 325hp instead of 320.

2k TOWARDS a body kit, ofcourse im not buying and painting and putting the thing on for 2k lol, dont take me for that dumb

and i'm keeping my mind open until i go see the car, pics of the car look legit, im gonna do a whole carfax report and get a professional to check out the car

so until then, IM THINKING POSITIVE SO LET ME BE IN MY FANTASY WORLD! haha

If thats your 'Dream Ride', then go for it!! the price is REALLY low for a Supra...but ya never know! Owner may be going thru Divorce, foreclosed, etc. Cant hurt to 'Look'

Markets are different around the US.... Like TRD mentioned, it would cost more (on average) if it were a Washington State sale.
