what bov is this??
haha, its my car, and its not the bov......the flutter is the compressor surge on the turbo, also the external wastegate has ALOT to do with it, i do have a HKS SSQV but you cant even hear it over that wastegate....ask any single turbo 1j or 2j or any car for that matter with the bigger turbo, thats the sound it will make when blown off with medium to high boost.....(6-15)
first time i watched it i heard nothing that resembled a bov, but that was on ****ty speakers.
watched it just now in my room, and on the final let off i'm pretty sure it was your bov
just curious what insert you are running on the SSQV. i only seem to be able to find vids of the purple inserts. . .

hahaha....ok.....ITS NOT A BOV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats the wastegate...all big turbos with external wastegates sounds like that......ok.....i have a tial38mm wastegate...his is bigger but sounds the same.....the wastegate makes that single loud purge sound, like a ping.......the flutter is the compressor surge,its leftover air......its not a BOV making that sound

my friend loves the sound like that, and i've been thinking it's just compressor surge, but theres cars that seem to have no blow off sound at all, and just straight compressor surge, and it's LOUD.
so i'm curious if you are running a gold insert?(sinc ei didn't hear chirp)

the hold feature is the only way i know that if i stayed boosting after fuel cut, the boost jumped to ~20psi, lol.
car's sitting in a garage now until i can piece together all my single parts, don't want to blow the thing up.
