Default E-brake light on while turning?

I have had this problem for a long time. It seems like it is getting worse. Whenever I bust a turn, hard or not, my e-brake light will turn on for a couple of seconds. I am sure my thigh is not touching the brake.

Another thing is, when I hit the gas firmly, the same e-brake lights will go on also. Any clue about this?

Only mods I did was a drop. The light gets really annoying

change your brake fluid and it'll go away.

it is most likely that the fluid level is getting low in the master cylinder reservoir. check the level and top off if necessary.

sounds about right!!

Might I recommend, if you are getting the e-brake light as a warning for low brake fluid, it's probable that no service has been done there for a long while unless you have a leak somewhere. I would say that you should bleed the brake lines as well as flush and replace the fluid in there now as opposed to just topping it off, but if you don't have time for that then at least top it off to ensure no damage or brake failure occurs.

hmmmm...that funny ive had this same prob since day one when i bought the car used. guy said there is no prob and that its probably a wiring issue. light only came on after a series of shifts then would go away after a while. now after seeing this i have another prob that i have to add to the list for "problems the last owner gave me" and this list is getting longer by the day. kinda pisses me off, but a least i know what the problem is now. thx!!

My eBrake light is on as well. Thus far, I have toped off the the brake fluid, and bled the brakes when I changed rotors/pads - all to no sucess. My last resort is going to be to change the parking/ebrake pads (which are different from your regular rear brake pads). If this doesnt work, I am just going to remove the brake light bulp from my cluster

Low brake fluid could be an indication of low brake pads, but yes the brake fluid reservoir has a sensor that warns the drive when they have low brake fluid, and your parking brake light will come on..
